Coming back to Victoria I was disturbed by this crash
Yesterday (Saturday 8th) I rode to Pt Nepean & back. As I arrived (in the car) at the starting point at Safety Beach I was diverted off the beachside road by police. There had just been an accident where a cyclist was hit by a car. I saw paramedics lifting someone into an ambulance and a badly mangled bicycle. Makes for a sobering start to the day's ride. Perhaps as a consequence I was more conscious of the car traffic but it seemed to me that in the weeks leading up to Xmas the traffic goes crazy in those beachside/holiday places. Drivers get impatient & aggressive.
