I commute with this one. Has inner sleeve inside the main for a lappy - takes 13.3inch no prob - in a good postion to accomidate the weight.
Mesh frame providing air gap btwn the pack & harness is great (and you can also stick non-essential stuff inbetween if you've run out of room inthe pack).
I've stuffed 1x zip, since I got it a year ago. Used 10x a week, all year. I fill this one mostly (I carry spare work clothes [shoes], towel & all toiletries every time).
Raincover works well - wettness doesnt get in - but I cant fathom how its supposed to fastern to the top of the pack when its full, as the over strtxhed elastic works against the rain cover & slides off sometimes.
Due to the frame/harness & "areo shape" , it does not stand up on it's own upright when 'packed' & wants to tumble over on it's back. Minor problem, but I've lost count of the nuber of times my back pack tumbling off my bed in the mornings when I flat out trying to get things ready to go.
I would seek a similar if this one was to go bung in a big way. I've trashed many backpacks ( I don't do messenger bags, they seem to be set up for a different purpose than what I do on my commutes).
Just a bike & a place to ride.
