Just spent 100 minutes cleaning both bikes
. The new Specialized road bike was a bit grubby, due to having been rained on during my Mt Buller ride yesterday, during which the weather was rather interesting. The Vivente tourer was dirty from another week of being rained on a few times. I found that the road bike brakes are easier to adjust than the canti brakes on the tourer, as the former don't require a Philips head screwdriver to adjust the tension of the 2 brake pads, instead I only have to use a barrel adjuster
By the way, does anyone know the best way to remove stickers from carbon fibre frames? The new road bike has some annoying stickers in places where they just stand out and look ugly. For example, the down tube has one on its side, containing a warning that if I don't use the bike according to the manufacturer's instructions, then I may injure myself: well, no sh!t, Sherlock
. How can I best remove these without scratching or otherwise damaging the frame?
