Occurs to me that I can simulate the load on the trainer to some extent. Ducky - I've got an Ultegra 6750 crankset, can I get away with 105 rings if that's all I can come by? As usual this is last minute maintenance before a big ride
It's pretty easy to get new chainrings. Any that have the same bolt pattern as yours will work. The 6750 crankset is the compact one (110 mm BCD), so you can use any Shimano, SRAM, Truvativ, Stronglight, TA, etc chainrings that are 110 mm BCD (NB: Campagnolo compact ones use a different bolt pattern, so just check that you're not ordering those). I'm running SRAM chainrings on my 6750 crankset because they're available in 50/36.
