You may be confusing Ride2Work Day with Super Tuesday. Super Tuesday is the bike count, undertaken in some municipalities in March. Ride2Work Day is both a day to celebrate your commute, as well as an opportunity or motivation for people contemplating riding to work to give it a try. The 'event' aspect of it, as well as, for some, the promise of a free breakfast can be all the motivation they need.
Great that the weather we ordered for Melbourne came through. Thanks for your stories everyone! And remember, if you (or if you know anyone else who) haven't registered yet, it's the stats from regular riders that are the most important. - http://ride2work.com.au/rtw
