Radar didn't look too promising as I left work last night, but I rolled over anyway to find the race was on. Chilled out at the rear of the peloton for the first half of the race, it's less pushy back there although you've got a little more work to do sprinting up the hill after the hairpin. Started my attempt to move up, it was a slow process. Make three places on the climb, loose two on the rest of the circuit. Oh, and that's only if I didn't have to jam the brakes on halfway up the hill. Made it to the front half of the race with three laps to go, probably crossed the line somewhere between P10-P15. Did it a little easier this week too.
Chatted with another rider pre/post-race, reckon we might have a go at breaking things up a little next week.
