wagger wrote:I've chosen the Slog Ride @ 100kms over Eastlink.....sorry eastlink......
Reasoning: more variety of riding conditions via country roads, smaller ride numbers(more intimate), good recommendations, greater scenery, greater challenge with a big hill and bigger undulations, prefer roundabout rides, rather than out and back, cheaper cost, doesn't have a corporatised feel like some of the bigger organised rides.

The Slog is miles ahead (does the Eastlink ride even get out of the blocks?)
Joker wrote:Had a problem with registering from the link in the email sent out, wouldn't let me go ahead as it kept saying I had left fields blank. Navigated out of the register page to another one, then back to the register page and then filled it in, with a question on where I heard about the ride which was not showing previously. Registration was no problem after that.
Not sure if there was a problem or not, but thought I would mention it here in case others experienced similar problems
