Helped participate in my sons' cub packs bike hike last night. The Hell Ride has got nothing on twenty 10 year olds on bikes.
The level of proficiency was, of course, varied, as was the size of the bikes. One poor kid was riding a bike my three year old is not far off.
Some Kamikaze kids!
I was very proud of my boy. He was told by other kids that "your bike is too big". Even though he was the youngest there, he was the only one to get through a deep bog hole upright and got the furthest up the slippery hills. He would have won the "slow race" too if he hadn't had to put his foot down to stop falling off when another kid (who was already "out") ran into him.
But it was great to see the kids on bikes and enjoying themselves.
