Eventually, when the kids are a bit older, I'll be able to invest in a proper 7.1 system. There's no point now, as I never get the chance to crank up the volume loud enough to warrant such a system. All I need for now is good speech clarity at low volumes.
Plenty of people making sound bars at reasonable prices. Kogan tends to be for IT geeks who only go by specs on paper. Bose is for those who like way too much boomy bass, even though I have a Bose ipod dock
