i finally outgrew it as i got stronger and faster.
i live on the top of a hill and i had a normal bike that i never took out because riding home i wasnt fit enough
the first time i took it out i ended up doing 30km with out being absolutley stuffed and i soon discovered that jells park was within my range so i often ended up riding there in the mornings while my family lolled in bed on the weekends.
my family thought it was a phase and i would grow out of it guess what i know have 2 bikes and am planning a 3rd when i reach my weight goal
i swore i would never wear lycra, and guess what again, i am now a mamil
I thoroughly love cycling now and couldnt envisage stopping.
i would encourage people who are unfit and want to get back into it, it is a great option, but not forever
I am now starting to commute again to windsor which is 25km each way and i love it

Also with the amount of medium density living rolling out in every inner & middle-inner suburb in Melbourne, conditions are ripe for a large burgeoning customer base for the electric ‘assisted’ bicycle.

The battery also needs to be removable so I can take it to my desk at work to charge it, because I haven't yet found a power point in the bike area. The battery needs to have enough range that I can still get home when the battery ages and only has half capacity.
