I met a (French) rider recently, who learnt (Aussie business) law when he got into some bother with business and what not, got passionate about it and really studied it up, expanding his circle of knowledge.
His son was recently accused of something. He admitted to me his son was guilty. He also admitted to successfully getting his son acquitted, saying the law is in favour of the criminal.
It was a telling experience.
I often hear, "Ignorance is no defence" and wonder if IT support people said that to lawyers, judges and politicians if the political and legal systems would pretty much grind to a halt.
