Arise, thread, and inhale that fragrance!
Have been out in the morn twice this week on the Boulie, once on Anzac Easter day, and again today. Monday was quite eerie despite getting there after 9am due to the fog - reminded me of my favourite day last year, riding up Humevale as visibility dropped below 10 metres; but not quite that thick, and with more riders out. Only one or two cars seen over the course of two laps*. Today I got there about 7-ish as the sun was coming up and got some beautiful sunrise views (and saw a bunch of hot air balloons floating up and away) but found a suprising amount of rat-run traffic - never seen that before. Including some wanker in a green people mover who just couldn't wait to pass me on a downhill section when I would've easily been doing 45+.
* - sorta two laps anyway, I like to hook it left up Walmer St and then go onto Studley Park Rd rather than retracing my steps again.
