High stupidity content to. Once got yelled at to get in the bike lane. Cought him at the next set of lights and told him I was IN the bike lane. Got a blank stare.
Lights on .. no one home.
How about an IQ test for drivers. Less than say 70 and they dont get a licence? Too discriminatory? Is it possible to be a safe driver under that level?
Just out of interest: was the subject header for this thread changed at some point down the track, or was that the title of your original post?? Just that AS didn't come into it until later.... I can see the connection, related to driving skills, and then naturally enough it was spelled out that AS people on average don't have lower IQs than non-AS (and if anything higher on average lol).
The true story, squeazasis, is that this discussion started in AnnieG's thread in the Commuter's section titled Bike friendly suburbs ... then someone (Chris_71 by the looks of it) made the remark "Forget the Western suburbs". Dave (Percrime) then made a Friday afternoon comment about IQ and driving, then Keely made a remark about AS, so the Friday afternoon frenzy of posts continued!! After a careful think, I wrote the original post that I did. It was later in the evening that I PM'ed Lisanne asking her if all of the "AS" posts in the "Bike friendly suburbs" thread could be split and made into a separate thread, so I could continue the off-topic discussion. Hence why the spin-off thread was called "AS and IQ and driving stuff", cos that's the debate that others were having, in between my AS posts, at the time.
