You all knew these were coming
Karl Hungus samples his beer shot. (The owner claimed "Trade secret" regarding how the beer bike worked - however I spied it was just a Heineken Brew-Keg. Next yr, however, he has plans for home brew and keg.
Barefoot, Brother Hungus and Karl discussing routes
Panda in Moonee Ponds Creek spillway, headed for the Koppenberg (which, in the end, was fine provided you didn't get squeezed).
End of the pavé
Schwartz with the recovery-drink of champions (after the toughest hill IMHO - coming out from Moonee Ponds Creek trail the second time).
PCBX (and Ben) doing laps
Mr White gives away the spoils. 'Brother' Hungus scored. I'm not aware of anyone else we know.
Whole set here
Jeez I wish I'd taken my good camera - thx to Snuffy for letting me squeeze off a few early on. And yeah - I have major lens envy now.
Not wanting to p!ss in my own pocket... perhaps it was the bike, but I found it SO much easier than 2008. Was it easier than that year, or is 2 x 4.5km commutes per day the secret? Highly advocate the sprung brooks. Oh, and that Yarra-side single track was ACE!
