I thought the same too and dipped my lid to a few "tubby" riders - kudos to them and to you tontonan and your inspirational kind. Way to go folks.tontonan wrote:I was impressed, not so much by the sporting riders that swarmed past me all day, but all the other folks that I passed on Sunday. Especially the tubby riders....

Connex wasn't much use to anyone on the Belgrave line, so I rode home, and I was riding strong. It must have been the beer. A roast dinner and a couple of reds when I got home. And when I hit the pillow I was gone. In the morning I felt fine. I rode over the little hill that had beaten me 12 months ago and went to work. While I felt like napping through the day I enjoyed that stressless contentment that comes from having ridden it all away.
Life is good. And it's better on a bike.
