I too would like to express my sincere thanks to all volunteers involved too.
To see you all freezing in melb, windswept in Port Arlington and smiling everywhere else whilst we were just 'cruisin' past' on a casual sunday spin (250k!) was both amazing, humbling and a sight for sore eyes (and other bits - most of which weren't looking anywhere!)
We as riders owe a lot to our mostly unsung support heroes - it's easy to underestimate the importance of your collective roles. Without you we'd have simply been out on Beach Road again (something, I must admit, that had enormous appeal at Port Arlington
We were fortunate enough to only have to smile at you all and listen on the way, but I can only imaging how the riders who blew up or terminally damaged their rides must have felt to see you!
Well done, and, thanks again all!
