Many thanks to Volunteers in general and the Riding Marshal (WARBY) Teams on both routes in particular; because I had a closer affinity with the latter.
Except for the incidents needing police & paramedic intervention mentioned in other threads, there were relatively few calls for First Aid given the number of cyclists en route.
From the Riding Marshal's (WARBY's) perspective, we repaired numerous flat tyres, chains off, loose headstems, loose cranks & pedals, buckled wheels & broken spokes and other minor mechanical repairs apart from adjusting all too many badly set-up bikes.
We were also able to help many flagging spirits to finish the journey with words of encouragement and little bags of trail mix.
There was a lot of praise for the efforts of volunteers back at the Gardens after the ride.
