I'm having a ball travelling, cycling , bushwalking and caravanning.
I worked for 40 years and put up with heaps of **** from employers/subordinates/colleagues etc, so I've earned the right to have fun now and I don't care if it's all spent by the time I kick the bucket; the kids can have the house.
You're far too generous jimbo. The house, be buggered, I think I'll mortgage to the hilt and use that money too! Besides, the cheeky young whipper-snappers have never known what it's really like to want. They give us baby-boomers static at every turn, have NO respect for their elders and still think that the world owes them a living.
Inheritance be damned! If they want some money, they can get up off their over-inflated egos, give their brain with the vertical smile some air & exercise, and earn it.
Perhaps we should do as they do in Japan; bequest the house complete WITH the mortgage, ay.
