I have Continental anti-puncture tyres. They've been great (so far)
Don't know how many there really were but I do know I saw a lot of people with upside down bikes after Carrum and I know I saw more than one patch of golden sparkling bits as I rode between Carrum and Mordialloc.
Dropped in to Nunawading Police Station today after all the comments but the civilian there said it was a council matter - littering. She didn't want to take a report because there was no way they would be able to find the offender (no argument from me there) and because doing so would not alert the local (Carrum) police to this. I was a bit disappointed
since I've always been told to report crimes so the police are aware and can pick up on patterns even when they can't solve the individual case.
I'll try ringing the council (Bayside?) tomorrow and see if they care.
Perhaps BV can discuss a sweeper run with the various councils along the route next year on the night before.
