I'm sorry to disagree with scootergirl but I think self promotion is a wonderful thing - part of the Australian way of life. Tall poppies be damned! You've obviously put in the hard yards and deserve the respect and acclaim of the great unwashed.
The "two wheels" renown may only extend to forum readers and as editor of the morning herald, the rest of the punters may well have an interest in your attempt to guide the green machine at an average of thirty three and one third kilometres and hour.
I know many posters will maintain an interest in your progress. As we will be webless, a daily half page with distance travelled against time expended, graphs with that day's projections, amusing anectdotes, ... would not be remiss.
The route profile suggests that the final days may be conducive to an average speed on the flats far in excess of thirty three and a third (sounds like a record). Perhaps tension could be built up in the early stages so that your achievement isn't nailed by day ten.
Bon chance mon ami in your travails.
