I can't wait too............... On the subject of how to ride on the road, it's a tough question to answer.
If your riding in a group of 4 or more, you are quite visible, but don't expect any leeway or concession from motorists, but you can help yourself. Try to stay around 1m from parked cars and never, ever ride more than two abreast, and if the road is real narrow, 1!!!
On faster roads, there is often a while line that you can ride in, again single file is appropiate. Try not to think the other traffic too much and focus on your own movements. Get up early and beat the traffic.
People ride all sorts of bikes, and at times you'll wish you had a MTB and at other times a Road bike.
Hard today that there are over 2,000 riders registered and paid up. Should be awesome.
