had a look back through my Garmin archive and the MAD ride 60k is 1100 metres ascent. so to measure it properly knowing the total ascent would give you a good idea of your preparedness to tackle 60k (with 1100 m ascent). The 60k is a nice course and from memory has about 2-3 deadly steep climbs the rest is undulating. So on your next ride work out the ascent then look at your average ks, that will give you a pretty good idea of what pace you should go at. an average of 15kph is good.mash wrote:Hey all,
