I have been told that I may have to take the new frame (if approved) to a Cervelo dealer to build it up. Doubt my 4 year old Sram Red GXP cranks will fit the new Cervelo BB Right system so that might be another curly question. My view is that if you are only covering parts then I'll build it myself thanks very much.
Yeah but most places won't honour any future warranty claims unless it's built by one of their own dealers, (not bagging your mechanical skills) but what's to say you don't damage the frame whilst building it and then make a further claim?
I know where your going there but I believe if you get the lbs to fit your BB and install the forks what else is there to damage? Until recently I've found my own wrench work to be superior to most lbs's... only because I'm more interested in the result. Having said that, Cycle Works in Box Hill have always been excellent when I haven't had time.
