The large chunk in the 10-17 age group? Agree, that's very disturbing. I wonder if I can make it show the % of those that were in a school zone?
Most of them probably don't ride their bikes to school at all. I'd put a fair slab of that chunk down to lack of childhood experience. We need more kids riding bikes to school and elsewhere, getting the training/educational miles in.
 This year there was just one death in that age group, aged 11. To some extent, the lack of child road deaths/injuries is indicative of the lack of child & teenage cyclists. A good thing ???
