A CARRUM Downs man suffered minor injuries this afternoon after the 4WD he was driving flipped and landed on its roof.
Police were pursuing him at the time after first noticing a grey Range Rover being driven erratically on McCormicks Road just after 2.30pm.
A police spokeswoman said that when police began the pursuit, the driver almost immediately lost control of the vehicle, which rolled over and landed on its roof near Brunnings Road.
The man, aged in his 30s, returned a positive alcohol reading and was taken to the Dandenong Hospital.
Article doesn't mention that it happened right outside a school at about the end of the school day. It made for some interesting traffic patterns with some roads blocked, and multiple police units in the area. About 2km further along, I was passed by four police cars in a row, didn't have any traffic problems down that road last night.
