The Giramondo place is a funny one to find, it's in a little industrial area just east of the Hume Hwy (not far past the big cemetery).
They sew their clothes there, and in the past if I wanted a jersey altered when I bought it, they'd do it for you in the spot.
I thought that was pretty cool at the time.
Also, I should note that they don't sell 'womens' knicks. The owner informed me that the chamois they used were unisex ones. (from memory the chamois were 'hygenix monolith and nalini??)
Anyway, my wife was concerned about this at the time but now that she's worn the knicks reckons that it doesn't matter at all . (and the Aust women's cycling team can't all be wrong!) hehe
It's a shame the shop is so far away (relatively) but the service there is top notch - i'd still ring them though if you plan to go up there on a Sat.
