How do you interpred ' cut of time for riders' then ?
That is written in the last colomn.
And you must have figured out that at least one of these times wil mean, you have to get off the road,
or did you honestly think you would be able to finish the ride in a time that would suit you?
You're killing me, this is getting harder than Hotham, and I do not meen to piss you off... but for one last time
Answer to your question 1). I, like many others, "cut of time for riders" was taken as the time you MUST get to the START of a sector. (like so many other events)
Answer to your question 2). Yes you are right, I, like many others, figuered out that the cut off time to get to the bottom of Falls Creek was the 7.45pm at the START of the sector.
Answer to part two Q2) I only expected to finsh before the last guy did in 2010 I would have been well in by 10pm, even 9pm like so many others.
If I am wrong why are there so many people upset with the arrangments on Sunday, heard some great stories since
a) to the perosn that listed the finshing stats and times, you're a legand.
b) with three of my family having worked for Vic Police I did check if I had to get off the road if requested and tecnincaly yes. Failuer to obey blah blah .. reason if life is in danger etc. You would have to wait to get to court to defend this. My bike as previuosly stated was lit up like a christmas tree BUT I did not have a "Bell" so they could have technicaly got me on that one... does Wiggle sell Bike Bells?
c) to the person that said why did i not wait for the road to open? not a bad idea and it did cross my mind, but the Police at DP said anyone coniuing on will be charged, the main officer at DP was a grumpy one let me tell you. Really made people feel uncomfortable for even just entering the event. maybe it was ment to be his day off!
To Peak or not to Peak, that is the question.
