All this"you show me yours, i`;; show you mine, my hill is bigger than yours, Garmin this, elevation that, gradient the other". Come on guys! this is meant to be fun.
Impressively hi-tec stuff, but the only hi-tec I need is hi-tec knee joints! Years of marathon running and timber floor laying for a living have left my knee failrly stuffed, so Igrade my hills like this! 2, 1 or 0, depending onhow many anti-inflamtories I take afterwards to stop the pain No pain no gain yeah? Bollocks! No pain IS gain!
By the way, I`m pleased to say Canning Mills Rd hill (that`s my training hill,it`s at my backdoor) has recently been downgraded from a 1 to a 0. How come? Werll I swapped my 34 tooth sprocket from my MTB onto my flatbar roadie. WOW !!!!!!! I can now climb vertical walls, almost.

My fav ride is Kelmscott/Jarrahdale and return (via Nettleton Rd with a large iced moccha at J`dale. 70 plus ks, Perfect!
