How do you know what rims, go with what hubs and what spokes?

1) Look up the ERD (Effective Rim Diameter) of the Rim from the manufacturers website.
2) you can do worse than DT Swiss spokes, so just use them.
3) same with their nipples, just use them in the calculator
4) spec's of the hubs (center to left, center to right, spoke hole diameter, etc) should all be on the manufacturers website - or could be 'online' in the tool
Refer to your local wheel building professional to double check your numbers if you are concerned.
