After my Freehub-by-Bega debacle
I am looking at replacements. The manufacturer's website offers two alternatives an "8/9 speed cro-mo" and a "Dura-Ace alloy". And I achieved a state of deep confusement.
From my (extremely limited) knowledge of this subject, I understood that Dura-Ace cassettes had deeper spliney things and only fitted on Dura-Ace specific hubs but that all other 8/9/10 speed cassettes fitted on other Shimano-compatible freehubs (with appropriate spacers). But the "8/9 speed" thing has thrown me.
Now, obviously the cro-mo will be somewhat less like fermented curd but I run a 10-speed (105) cassette - will it fit on the "8/9 speed" one or am I stuck with the alloy one?
