I have a stupid wheel build planned.
My google-fu is failing me. I'm finding length calculators for snow-flake and crows foot and all kinds of other "textbook" patterns, but I'm sure I used to know a generic calculator that could help me calculate lengths for any odd-ball pattern.
Does anybody know where I could find such a thing?
In essence, I'm being forced to use mismatched drillings. I need to use a 32h hub, but I can't find a 32h rim in the right size (for some reason BMX kiddies sometimes use 28, sometimes 36, sometimes 72... but never 32). I'm sure I can build an acceptably strong wheel using a 36h rim and missing a hole at every quarter... but it's going to be a nightmare of spoke lengths.
Alternatively, if anybody has a 32h 20" rim sitting around doing nothing... I'm interested
