The inaugural Brackenbury Tour is coming!
It will be held the weekend of October 22-23, after the Herald-Sun Tour and before the Tour of Bright. It's promoted by the Ballarat-Sebastopol Cycling Club and the Committee for Creswick.

We'll update these details as we lock them down, so please check back here often.
Expected entries: 150 riders
A, B, C and D grades. There will not be separate women's, juniors or masters races. All grades will be open to male and female cyclists, U19 and older. Riders will be graded based on their placings in the stage one individual time trial - see below - so you'll be riding with others of similar ability, regardless of gender or age. There will be a prize for first woman rider in each grade - see below.
Invited clubs: Ballarat-Sebastopol, Geelong, Bendigo & District, Castlemaine, Colac, Ararat & Districts, Horsham, Warrnambool, Port Fairy, Echuca-Moama, Shepparton, Hamilton
Riders from other Cycling Australia-affiliated clubs are eligible to enter with a written "release" from their club. An email release is acceptable.
Entries will be via the Brackenbury web site. On-line entries are now open!
Expected closing date for entries: Sunday 16 October
Saturday - TT
The TT will start at Creswick Town Hall, 0900, with riders starting in alphabetical order, one minute gaps. Last rider commences 1130.
Bungaree Rd, Dean-Adekate Camp Rd. Course maps are HERE. Expected time 15-25 minutes

Saturday - Circuit Race
Grades to be posted at Hammon Park, Creswick, by 1330. Want to enter A grade? Please! Be our guest. The next five fastest not already in A grade will be bumped up. The next thirty finishers will become B grade, then C grade, etc.
Roll out 1400 with police escort
Bald Hills Rd -Gillies Rd - Millers Rd - Coghills Ck Rd. 30 minute ride to start of stage 2
Assemble into grades 1500. Start A -B -C - D. Click HERE for the race course map.
Race completed 1730. Competitors to make their own way home.
Race village open 0830, Creswick
Race starts: 0900 A; 0910 B; 0920 C; 0930 D

Finishes expected 1200 til 1430. Finish likely to be in slip lane opposite Farmers Arms Hotel - similar to the Fred Icke finish.
