Apollo Bicycles Spectacular - TT's and Road Races
Calling all time trialers!
CCCC's racing at the Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit on Saturday July 24 will include Individual Time Trials in the morning session (starting at 10am) and graded Road Races in the afternoon session (starting at 1.30pm).
Individual Time Trial - Pre-entry required
Race distance will be 4 laps - Minimum of 18km for riders Under 17 and older (shorter distances for younger riders and hand cyclists) as applicable). Test your strength, pacing strategies and bike handling on the perfectly surfaced and technical circuit.
Gate opens at 8.30am. First rider will start at 10am, the circuit will be open (to registered competitors only) for warming up from 9am.
Event cost: TT only $20. TT and Road Race $30 (Under 17 and younger $10/$15)
Entry: Pre-entry is required to email@example.com by 5pm on Wednesday 21st July, with payment on the day of the event at the venue.
Road Races - entry on the day
Graded races will be held in the afternoon session, starting at 1.30pm for A to E Grades. A separate novice/junior race will also be provided.
Apprximate race distances: A Grade 80km, B Grade 75km, C Grade 70km, D Grade 60km, E Grade 50km, Novice/junior 25km. The circuit will be available (to registered competitors only) for warming up from approximatley 1pm.
Event cost: Road Race only $20. Road Race and TT $30 (Under 17 and younger $10/$15)
Entry: all entries will be taken at the venue on the day.

Excellent. Just on the 'leave pass', has anyone ever had one rejected? IMO they're just an admin overhead. The only time I'd interact with my club official in this case would be to hassle them for a 'leave pass'. I have zero interaction with them otherwise. I may need to be reminded why we need these again....
