Publius Naso - you are missed.
26 riders contested round 4 of the aboc Summer Sprint Series.
The pace in A grade is blistering, with the fastest qualifer recording a Flying 200m time just faster than 12 seconds - 60km/h
It is great to watch these fast riders in action.
At the low end of D grade, a far more modest 40km/h was recorded.
Conditions were at first mild and blustery, with wind gusts hindering most riders, but occasionally assisting a lucky rider.
Round one was completed, but only D grade completed round 2. The wind swung, with the gusts blowing debris onto the track and moving the riders off their line. The commissaire called a halt - and there was general scatter to get bikes and bods under cover as the hail started.
Another fun day despite the weather. Sadly, the day was called off before the barbecue got going.
