hi all, i'm slowly getting a picture of what this event 'might' be like -thanks to all for the tips. Just wondering what sort of things the locals have done in the past, as we ride through or overnight at their towns? I presume sausage sizzles and cake stalls, what other things might they offer to separate me from my cash? Kay in Bendigo.
I don't know what I would have done without the Bacon & Eggs that the local groups put on at campsite in the mornings, it was absolutely delicious instead of the Brekkie provided . Big Thanks to local groups there!
I don't think that I would have survived the ride without the Baked Potato vendor and the Colombine Healthy Food vendor - they made brilliant Banana Smoothies, both of these vendors followed the ride and were excellent.
Raman, your photos on your website were beautiful, they brought back all the memories of last year's GVBR.. Your commentary was very good.
