Campagnolo Record 2007 groupset is going to set you back about $2700 by itself. Chorus is about $2k.
Putting a frame to match that... Some people have feelings that the italian groupset must be matched with Italian carbon. Personally don't fall for it. Perhaps a quality frame to build up around, like a Scott or Trek Madone or similar.
Then wheels... A set of Campagnolo Eurus would be a treat.
Probably looking at $6500 though..
