Depends on what you can get to comfortably fit your noggin!
I couldn't a bunch of stuff at my LBS to fit comfortably, or work appropriately when i'm in the drops. I eventually found a Bell Sweep R, and paid about $185 for it. Personally I want a helmet to be comfortable so I don't notice i'm wearing it regardless of when i'm in the drops, on the hoods or on my flat bar.
Basically the only thing I could find from 3 LBS's was the Bell. Gyro's gave dug into my head when they were appropriately sized, the next size up was comfortable - however too loose on my head no matter what I did. Then I checked out Limar, similar issue, only size that was comfortable was too large to be secure on my head. The only 'met' helmet that worked was a $200 helmet and I hated the look of it. The Specialized helmet fitted well, but was expensive as well. The Bell I picked on price and availability and fit.
