As I suggested to AK in another forum, there are still stocks of Aldi's GPS/HRM watch in some stores.
I paid the full $99 for mine when they were on sale in about June, but I've heard of remaindered stock selling for $70 or so.
Here's a looksee at what they're all about:http://www.elementwellbeing.com/tech/cr ... ch-review/

It doesn't have altimeter or temperature , but it does the rest, including HR. And it allegedly does 14-16 hours GPS recording on a charge (I've never gone beyond about 8 hours). Without GPS running, it lasts (as a conventional albeit bulky wristwatch) almost indefinitely... I've checked the battery level after leaving it for a week or two, and it still says it has 100% charge.
I'm well happy with mine, and recommend it for other cheapskates who don't want to pay the money for a proper brand GPS device. Maybe not what AK is looking for, but worth putting out here.
whose local Aldi still has at least one in the cabinet - not sure on the current asking price.
anything that attaches to your wrist and has a thermometer in it is going to give you a good indication of the temperature in the vicinity of your wrist, which is probably going to be somewhere in between atmospheric temperature and your body temperature, but not a useful measurement of either.
