I was looking at one of these yesterday. It was a perfect fit for me, plenty of pockets in all the right places and I liked the style and red color as well. Only 2 problems, one was the $209 price tag and other was the thought that maybe it would be too warm, overkill for Melbourne. I googled for reviews and found a few Canadians talking about how great they were for -10 degrees.
I couldn't find too many online either, Wiggle have a price of $100 on them but only have medium and large sizes in black.
So has anyone got one who could advise?
I tried on a Louis Garneau at St Kilda cycles his morning. It was obviously a bit lighter but I wasn't real impressed by the fit. My theory is that the Japanese are better at making clothes for smaller framed people.
I was also looking at Shimano MTB42 shoes. I wanted something for commuting that I could also comfortably walk around in if necessary. Is anyone using those?
