I always thought the production version of the Moser TT looks a bit weird without the BIG disc wheel at the back that the sherriff used to get the hour record. The arc of the seat tube really hugged the big wheel!
I would love to do a modern-day lo-pro as a project, even if it couldn't be ridden in an actual TT. 650c Zipp at the front, disc at the back, Vision TT crank, some illegal aero bars, basically just go hogwild with the go-fast parts.
Sound like a Melbourn-Roobaix project . A mate of mine rode a soft ride fixie last year complete with Zipp 404's . Were soft rides ever made for the track? Sort of defeats the purpose no?
Yes. He does have too much money.

Limited edition (300) from Specialized. Never been a big fan, always more of a Cannondale sorta guy, but there's been a few black Tarmacs/Venges that have caught my eye of late.

Like an old Allez but for the now. I'm sure they could do some tricky work with the carbon layup around the junctions to still keep the stiffness, integrate BB30, etc. Parlee seem to manage OK.
