Checked the radar today before deciding that it didnt look too bad. Kitted up and made it to the start where Jay was waiting. Soon after Time G rolls up with Leigh. 4 starters on a wet and cold morning. Fozzy jumped on a few Ks south for the trip. The rain was steady all the way down beach rd and given that i was only in lycra and a singy i was frozen. (need some wet weather gear)
Made it to mordy before i 'bid the mob good day' and turned home. Yes, I'm soft, but at least i made it out.
Hope you had a good one Time G. It looked like the weather got better after i turned.
You missed a great ride , we had Beach Road to ourselves,
I nearly didnt recognise you in your Hampton Kit,
Well the precipitation may have slowed from above but there was plenty coming up off the road and the wind chill penetrated the windbreaker shortly after,
Jay broke a spoke at Seaford and at Frankston he and I turned for home,Fozzy and Leigh went up the hill. We cruised home and it obviously wasnt enough for Jay as he was out later on when the weather improved, cant keep a good man down.
Always next week,
