nice as it was, however, that was but a mere diversion from the fundamental enjoyment of rolling around in our own private gang of four. i had earlier arrived at aa at 5.59am to find it deserted and blinkies well down the canty hill. looking ahead it seemed i had a choice of three distinct groups to join; thinking that the closest group would be a good start i ultimately found it was not only that but also an excellent middle and finish as well.
it seemed the ride consisted of rolling and chatting, chatting and rolling with every now and then a little bit of effort to earn the regroup point. it seemed that i was a wonderfully strong rider going up belmore and fintona but, no doubt, if it reads this post the wind will claim responsibility.
after crossing whitehorse on fintona i found myself separated from the others by the lights, and so i continued on. while i would really have liked to have had the very special ride reward that is the omr coffee stop, time was not hesitating even though i was, and so i turned right rather than left at canty.
thank you tmt2, barbara and ness for a really enjoyable ride.

I’m not sure that I will be coming back for the post ride coffee while the current crew are on front of house.
Not a good start to the day at all (apart from the ride, which was windy but great).
tell me more- what happened? the maling room has been great as a coffee stop because of the responsive service and excellent bike parking. if the service disappears, there ain't much left.
