Inaddition there arent too many support stops so pack plenty of food and drink
Would you recommend changing my handlebars from a flat bar to a drop bar?
That's personal preference.
Though I find it more comfortable to bend elbows downwards to get more aero...which is easier on drop bars than flat bar...however...adding bar-ends to a flat bar is also a solution. Stick with the flatbar...it's cheaper And if you find someone to draft...it doesn't matter
Yes not enough cash to get the whole bar - was thinking of getting some bar ends to the flat bar, have been given a good price,
was getting them anyway, so i'll ride with both see which ones I find more comfortable. but just started doing longer rides and have found my wrists seem to die after about 80ks, would be good to have a few more positions to put them in.
Thanks for your help!
