That was wet. Very wet. Must have rained 90% of the time. Averaged 31.7kph though, and finished in the second group home - not too bad on a hilly course.
It was at least warm-ish, so felt like tropical riding. We gave up riding around the puddles and just went straight through them as everything was so wet. Funniest sight was a guy in my group whose chamois cream turned into soap suds in the wet - all over his seat and saddlebag.
Well organised ride, plenty of marshalls and signage & well located rest-stops. I'll hope for better weather next year.
