Thanks for the tow Para...
I was waiting for my partner, but found out he was still at Mornington so I raced to catch up. I just couldn't face riding into that head wind by myself! I got dropped just before the Beaumauris Pub... legs were too shattered!
The other guys who were hitching a ride were quite amused with your mates antics! Good bike handling skills!
We love taking the piss out of people on aero bars
He's just more skilled at it than me... That guy on the aero bars that past us through Chelsea and never got away was a source of much amusement. He was down on the aero bars, but no lower than Neil or I relaxing on the tops. Second we went to the hoods we were further out of the wind, not to mention the drops, or my attempted position at going aero without the bars by resting my elbows on the hoods of my brakes
My legs we certainly feeling it by Black Rock. Stopped off at the local supermarket for some chocolate milk and a boost bar.
I was fairly gutted from Black Rock back to St Kilda and then on home. Prime reason is well... two guys going the same direction its a race! So the trip down to Frankston was a touch quick with St Kilda to Frankston done at 34km/h - whoops so much for the simple 'turn the legs over'
Buy a bike, park the car, ride your ass off...
