Negative putting-down, misquoting, misrepresenting, distorting and ranting are all valid Forum behaviours in my book and should be encouraged if our KPI is Forum speed.
Have read back through this thread - a few people, including Wagger and Cycle Chic, have referred to the negative responses a lot of posts get. I'd guess it's likely that a lot of people feel as I do: not motivated to post due to the chances of getting putting-down responses! (Even though needless to say, this isn't the only reason for the forum's slowing down!)
