You can get funding for a qualification that is greater than what you already have. There are exceptions, however (such as being made redundant), so you're probably better off approaching the education institute and asking them directly.
Thanks AK. It seems a bit stupid in one sense, as some industries are crying out for people to be skilled in certain areas.
Unfortunately, I just don't have 10-20K to drop on some of these courses.
Also I don't think some of these places/employers, which provide "on the job" training allowing you to get your Cert III or IV, would like it if they couldn't get the Gov. Funding kick back.
I might get discounted for RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning) - but knowing my luck!!
