So I've worked in a few places in my time, and I'm getting sick of seeing my super funds dwindle due to poor performance and exorbitant management costs.
There's a few things I need to do, including taking more interest in how my super is managed, and where my money is going. But the first thing I need to do is consolidate about 6 accounts into one.
This. has. been. the. most. painful. process. ever.
Every super fund wants different information and I can't recall any request being submitted smoothly. The latest kick-back has been a doozy!
As part of my submission, I need to provide verification of identity. This is all good and well, but supposedly this super fund requires verification over-and-above what is legally required, and will also reject an application contrary to their own set of regulations!
I've wasted way too much time on this and am getting sick of super funds acting they way they do. I can't wait until I reach an age where self-managing super becomes financially viable so I don't have to deal with these lazy, incompetent organisations ever again.
No doubt there's some forumers that are in the super industry, please help restore my faith in this difficult time!
