Seafood (as opposed to fish with both fins and scales) is not Kosher but is Halal (prawns etc. - although for all I know there might be restrictions within seafood for Halal).
One interesting bit of trivia, there is one kind of fish, I don't remember what it is, but I think it has juvenile scales that it later loses or something, that is not Kosher by mainstream definition but some Conservative (as opposed to Orthodox) Jews have chosen to classify it as Kosher.
