Not sure about the specific network coverage Victor, but are you still with Vodafone? Have you heard any more recent news on the class action launched against them for providing sh1thouse service?
I have two friends with phones on the Vodafone network. I've recently resolved to NEVER call either of them again on their mobile phones. Surely as night follows day were the call dropouts, echo-ing, poor connection etc. It was to the point where I felt like smashing my own phone against a brick wall when talking to their mobile handsets.
Not happy with Vodafone.
Yeah, I'd definitely heard about Vodafone's coverage issues. That's why I asked in my earlier post about the merits of switching to Telstra.
Just thought it might be worth you considering changing to either Telstra or Optarse - given you like to spend time in the mountains.
We're with Optarse, so it was just brilliant to spend 3-4 days at Wye River (halfway between Lorne & Apollo Bay) recently with absolutely zero mobile coverage. Nothing like spending time in the outback!!
